I had the greatest time at my session with Carrie. After entering the work world for a few years, she determined that her true calling was to be a registered nurse. Specifically over the past six months she has tirelessly split time between Mayo in Rochester, her classes in southern Minnesota, and her job at Fairview Southdale. To celebrate her graduation and hard work we decided that a professional, but fun session at Fairview Southdale would be perfect. We were graciously given access to the ICU simulation room(I guess you work say this is a test/practice room). I wanted to capture images of Carrie doing what she loves the most, helping people. I will be first to say that the “patient” was not a real person. For the sake of Carrie’s husband Steve who came for moral support, we decided that we would use the dummy to demonstrate versus making him our prop. Congratulations Carrie on your achievement, you’re an incredibly smart women who will be an outstanding RN. I know your patients and their families will notice the care and commitment you put into your profession.
